Do you share your equestrian adventures online? Are you a Brand Ambassador or have Sponsors that you wish to promote? Perhaps you just want your pictures, videos, blog and news all together in one place without the third party adverts?
Are you a small business or have a side-line making horse accessories (browbands, rosettes etc.) or an artist that draws and paints or you provide dog walking or equestrian services etc. and want to have an online presence. You may even be a photographer wishing to display or sell your work online.
If so, would you like your own personal website with a .com or .co.uk designation and matching personal email, or emails, to go with it? The website could be named after you e.g. jasonbaker.com with the email to match jason@jasonbaker.com, alternatively, your pony or horse e.g. blackbeauty.co.uk and anna@blackbeauty.co.uk. You can also go crazy with the name e.g. crunchyfrogs.co.uk or whatever else takes your fancy.
Examples
For an idea of what is possible I have created a number of examples. You may recognise a few faces, as I have used my images, but I’ve changed the horses names. All of the thoughts/text on the websites is mine and mine alone and not that of those depicted, particularly on the blog style website.
Please take a look and let me know what you think.
Alpha.BlueWolfPhotography.com

This is a six page website with Home, About, Sponsors and Contact pages as well as two gallery pages.
The Home page gives a taster of what can be found on the other pages and has a contact section at the bottom for those that want to get in touch immediately. There is no animation on this website but that can be added.
This can be a static website or the galleries can be added to by you or through a maintenance arrangement.
Like all the websites the colours can be changed to match your personal or corporate colours.

Bravo.BlueWolfPhotography.com
This four page website has Home and Contact pages as well as a page dedicated to images and another to videos.
The Home page has animated time lapse galleries to display a series of images, which can be played automatically, manually or a combination of both.
You can embed your own videos into the website or link to third-party videos on YouTube or other platforms.

Charlie.BlueWolfPhotography.com

If a blogging or online diary style website is for you then Charlie is an example of what is possible. Here the Home page displays all the individual blogs, which are grouped in categories so topics can be searched for.
As well as an About and Contact page this website has a Support Us page, which can allow visitors to donate. In this case a cup of tea for you or carrots for the horse.
As a blogging website this will require updating to stay relevant. Full training on how would be provided or it could be done through a maintenance arrangement with you simply providing the content.

Delta.BlueWolfPhotography.com
Delta, with its nine pages, is a more formal looking, business style website, which details the services provided either by an individual or business.
This website includes a basic booking facility where a phone call, meeting or course can be booked via the website.
E-commerce can be added to the website to enable payment for services at the time of booking. Alternatively clients can be invoiced afterwards using PayPal or another payment provider.

GHOYS2023.BlueWolfPhotography.com

I will be using this website for GHOYS 2023 but until updated it is showing the 2022 schedule, arenas and sponsors. Whilst this website is set up for GHOYS it gives an idea how an event orientated website might look.
This is potentially a very large website with ten pages and potentially sixty plus gallery pages (only the 2022 Senior Team gallery is uploaded).
With a Programme of events, a Sponsors promotion page and e-commerce facility (shop) that could sell products, tickets and merchandise etc. this website has it all.
Like all of the websites social media links are included to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and any other social media you would like.

Finally of course there is the BlueWolfPhotography website, which many of you will already be familiar with and has been a successful online solution for my personal photography business for the past nine years.
If you’d like your own website and are interested in what it might look like then Contact me so we can discuss.
Pricing
To give everyone the opportunity to have their own website. Websites like those above can start from as little as £5 per month. However, the cost of a website is dependent on a number of factors:
Domain name: this is the name of your website and usually costs between £10 and £15 a year but can cost thousands if it is a ‘special’ name.
Hosting: this is the server space your website occupies allowing it to be visible on the internet. Cost depends on whether hosting is shared or not, as well as the length of time hosting is required for (it is extendable) and ranges from £3 to £10 per month.
Pages: the more pages the greater the cost. How many pages does your website need e.g. Home, About, Services, Products, Gallery, News, Contact, Terms of Service, Privacy and so on.
Content: are you able to supply the content, logos, text, images and videos or do you require me or a third party to provide.
Functionality: does the site require galleries, e-commerce, appointment booking, members only sections etc.
Maintenance: all websites need some to ensure at the very least that they remain secure and backed up. There is also the updating and addition of content and whether you are comfortable doing this or would like me to do it.
