Guernsey Riding & Hunt Club this morning for a spot of showjumping in the main arena on the grass and over a simple course of 12 fences with heights ranging from 50cm up to 1.20m. This was also the last chance to compete on grass before the Guernsey Horse of the Year Show at the end of August.
Despite the weather being the best its been for a while the number of entrants was low, which is a shame given the effort put into holding the event but perhaps not surprising with people competing away or simply on their summer holidays.
