Saturday and the Guernsey Riding & Hunt Club are holding a Showjump Challenge across the all-weather, main arena and back field utilising natural obstacles as well as standard jumps. The weather is good and I’m in the main arena itself surrounded and up close to the various jumps.
Whilst not a bright sunny summer day the autumnal background colours add to the photographs. With the hedge and telegraph pole part of the course, riders were also able to jump the other part of the hedge both ways after completing the course.
