This weekend I was at the Guernsey Riding & Hunt Club for their annual Showing Show. Held over two days there were all types of classes and all types and sizes of ponies and horses competing. All had one thing in common. They had been washed, groomed, plaited and polished until they sparkled. And that was just ponies and horses.
Thankfully after all that hard work the weather was lovely and sunny. Ideal for showing off your best to the eagle eyed judges. Trophies and smiles aplenty from the winners but also much applause, support and agreement from the spectators.
