Sunday and after two days of dressage we are at the Guernsey Riding & Hunt Club for Arena Hunter Trials. Quite a change of pace and a we have a different camera and technique. The one constant is the good weather continues and we have some lovely light.
We started with cross-poles and worked upwards in height to 90cm and a 13 fence course. Spoilt for shots as many fences were jumping the ‘right’ way for me to photograph. Was also able to get some 90 degree shots of fence 13, which, when they work, really show the horse in full extension.
