Music, saluting, 17 letters of the alphabet, flying changes, pirouette, passage, free rein and percentages…must be dressage time. This weekend we are at BS Guernsey photographing the dressage. Starting Friday with the tests to music, which is always great fun, and then further tests on Saturday and Sunday covering all levels of ability.
Always amazing how, with seemingly very little effort/movement from the rider, so many complicated movements can be completed at such specific points in these tests. So many riders also complete their tests without it being called from the side for them. I’d find it hard enough to stay seated and possibly walk in a straight line.
