At Guernsey Riding & Hunt Club this morning for showjumping but only up to 70cm and starting with trotting poles then cross-poles as we work our way up. Must admit I found the trotting poles looked more complicated than standard fences!
It was nice to see riders out perhaps trying something new or new combinations out in competition for the first time. There were two constants throughout the event. It was sunny and everyone was encouraged and cheered on by the spectators and other riders.
