Early start Saturday for the Guernsey Riding & Hunt Club’s SJ Challenge to avoid the forecast bad weather and we are off to a good start as I slept through my alarm. Arrived in time but then wondered why there were only 5 fences in the main arena! Okay, its over all three arenas. This is why you should walk the course, even the photographer.
It was a short event but one full of smiles as everyone seemed so relaxed in attempting to match their times around the course. Starting early we also managed to not only finish but clear the course before the weather turned.
